Three people were injured after a car allegedly ran a red light, hit another car, then smashed into a taco shop in Riverside late Thursday.
Riverside County Fire Department, American Medical Rescue and Riverside County Sheriff's Department responded to the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Rubidoux Boulevard at around 9 p.m.
According to a witness, a white Honda sedan at high rate of speed, failed to stop at a red light , collided with a gold sedan, then drove up a curb and smashed into Tacos Los Compadres.
Two women in the gold sedan taken to hospital for treatment. A third victim suffered minor injuries, but did not require treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
