Los Angeles voters will be asked again in May who they want to become the city’s next mayor, controller and attorney, after poll results late Tuesday appeared to send those three races into a runoff.
If a single candidate does not garner a majority of the votes, the top two vote-getters will face each other in a May 21 election.
As of 12:08 a.m. with 40 percent of the precincts reporting, these are the candidates most likely to be on the ballot in May:
Los Angeles Mayor
Los Angeles City Attorney
Los Angeles City Controller
