Three Men Sought in Alleged Assault of 63-Year-Old Man in Pasadena

Police are searching for three men who allegedly assaulted a 63-year-old man last month in Pasadena, officials said.

The victim was walking with a cane at approximately 3:30 p.m. Oct. 13 south on the west sidewalk of Lake Avenue, north of East Claremont Street.

As he neared the corner, one of the suspects allegedly approached him and shoved him to the ground, Pasadena Police Department said.

A surveillance video shows the suspects after the alleged assault, running west of Claremont Street and into an awaiting silver Toyota Camry. The car then drove away north on Hudson Avenue.

The victim suffered a broken elbow and collarbone.

The man that assaulted the victim was described as a 25 to 27-year-old black male, 6’1” and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was clean shaven and last seen wearing a blue jersey with a red collar with white lettering on the front, blue pants and a blue baseball cap, officials said.

A second man was described as a 25 to 27-year-old black male wearing a white shirt and red shorts, and a third man was described as a 25 to 27-year-old black male, 5’11” and 150 pounds, with short, twisted dreadlocks and multiple tattoos on both arms and stomach, officials said. He was last seen wearing only gray cut-off sweatpants and his hands were wrapped with white tape, similar to a boxer, officials said.

The driver of the Camry was described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt and white or gray shorts, officials said.
