A toddler is in critical condition after being bitten by a snake in the Inland Empire Saturday morning.
The young boy was airlifted to a local hospital after he was bitten at about 11 a.m. in the area of East Benton and Warren roads in an unincorporated part of Riverside County near Murrieta, the Riverside County Fire Department said in an incident report.
Fire officials did not immediately know what kind of snake bit the boy, whose age was not given.
