The clock is ticking for the decorating of this year's Rose Parade floats. Volunteers as always are among those helping out. Ted Chen reports for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.
Flowers, beans, cabbage, apples and other items are all part of the floats, including one in honor of military dogs, being judged Monday in Irwindale. Results will be announced Tuesday morning. Annette Arreola reports for the NBC4 News at Noon on Monday Dec. 31, 2012.
More than 40 floral floats shared Pasadena's Colorado Boulevard with marching bands and equestrian units Tuesday during the 124 Tournament of Roses Parade.
The floats were judged Monday in Irwindale. They will be parked near the end of the parade route Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for public viewing.
