Two Men Stabbed Near Cal State Fullerton

Police did not know if the two victims were CSUF students.

Two California State University, Fullerton students were stabbed near the university's fraternity row early Sunday night, Fullerton police said.

The stabbing was reported around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, in an alleyway behind the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity house on the 2100 block of Teri Place, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Both men had been attending a party at the house, blocks away from CSUF’s campus.

One man, 19, and another man in his early 20s sustained non-life threatening injuries. Surveillance footage showed one man being stabbed in the chest, and the other being stabbed in the arm before running away, according to Fullerton police.

There are two CSUF fraternity houses on Teri Place, police said.

Police did not know if the stabber was a CSUF student. The only description of the stabber was that he was wearing dark pants and a baseball cap.

No arrests had been made as of Monday morning.

"The university’s primary concern at this time is with the continued recovery of our students and with supporting law enforcement in the investigation," Cal State Fullerton officials said in a statement to NBC4.

Pi Kappa Phi did not provide a comment Monday night.
