USC Basketball Player Already a Millionaire

While some members of the USC basketball team look forward to further success on the court, there's one Trojan player who is happy to stay in the moment -- because he's already a millionaire.

Sam Dhillon has only played a minute or two in just six games this season, and still the walk-on forward is OK with that.

"My whole dream was to play Division 1 basketball one day, and I'm living the dream right now," Dhillon said.

Dhillon turned down other Division 1 offers where he could have played, but USC offered something special for him.

"USC has a great medical school and a great pre-medical program as well for school. I saw that as the future kind of goal for me"

Dhillon, who is a junior studying organic chemistry, wants to be a brain surgeon.

Dhillon is already an entrepreneur, he formed an investment advisory firm right after graduating from high school.

"For the first 6 months I had two clients for about $20,000, and I was making $85 -- that's all I made," he said.

Fast forward to the present and Dhillon's portfolio has grown.

"It's now worth over $3.5 million and I have my first two NFL guys for this next year's draft," Dhillon said.

Dhillon says his driving force is helping people -- and he practices that by offering his Trojan teammates practical advice.

"I help them with like budgeting every now and say, 'guys, save money on that. Go there and get the discount there guys.'"

Yet Dhillon is anything but thrifty. He recently rented a giant limousine and took the entire team out to a fancy dinner.

"'I said 'guys, order as much as you want. Don't worry about it, I got it.' ...  Seven thousand dollar tab, don't worry about it. It was just an amazing experience."
