Check out the 2017 Preseason College Football Rankings as voted upon by the coaches. You'll be surprised where the USC Trojans are.

Fight on.

The 2017 Preseason College Football Rankings were released on Thursday and Southern California's own, USC Trojans were ranked number four by college coaches.

The Trojans finished the season on a nine-game winning streak, capped off with a memorable Rose Bowl victory against the Penn State Nittany Lions who are ranked No. 6 in the preseason poll.

Coaches and other preseason analysts are expecting the Trojans to continue their dominance with sophomore quarterback Sam Darnold at the helm, an early Heisman Trophy favorite.

Alabama starts the season as the preseason as the No.1 team for the second straight season with Ohio State at No. 2, Florida State No. 3, USC No. 4 and Clemson No. 5 to round out the top five.

Three other Pac 12 teams join the Trojans in the top 25 as last year's Pac 12 champion the Washington Huskies are ranked No. 7, Stanford is ranked No. 14 and Utah is ranked No. 25.
