Two people were taken to a hospital Thursday night after a car crashed into a San Fernando Valley apartment building, officials said.
The crash was reported about 9:14 p.m. in the 20400 block of Saticoy Street in Winnetka, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The driver and a man sitting on a couch inside the ground-floor apartment suffered minor injuries.
According to police, the driver was an adult female with a driving permit. As such, she has to drive with someone in the car who has a license.
Police said that the apartment is demolished but that the rest of the building is fine and has been inspected.
