The shooting occurred after 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of West 75th Street, near Western Avenue, said Sgt. Jim Lewis of the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Street Station.
The man drove to Manchester and Van Ness avenues, and Inglewood police relayed information to Los Angeles police at 10:33 p.m., Lewis said.
The victim was hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Lewis said.
