A man in a wheelchair struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in San Bernardino was identified Friday.
William Earl Swisher III, 62, of Victorville, was struck at 9:18 p.m. Thursday, August 14, near Cajon Boulevard and Western Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
Swisher died at the scene.
Investigators are continuing to search for the driver that struck Swisher.
The vehicle that struck Swisher is described as a light-colored work utility truck with a roof rack. The driver of the truck fled the scene in the vehicle.
