A woman allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and smashed into an apartment building in Brea early Saturday.
She crashed her Cadillac Escalade into the ground level of 2 story apartment unit at the 300 block of State College Boulevard,, Brea Police Department said.
A couple and a dog were in the 2nd floor of unit, however no injuries reported,The building itself was badly damaged in the crash.
The female driver refused transport, and alcohol use was ruled out after a field sobriety test.
