A woman was pushing a shopping cart across a Santa Ana street early Thursday when she was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash.
The crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of West First Street. The woman was not in the crosswalk at the time, police said.
She was struck by a pickup that was last seen on Forest Street, according to police. Details regarding the vehicle description were not immediately available.
