West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies received a call early Saturday from two people claiming a woman they were with was sexually assaulted by an Uber driver.
Deputies responded around 3 a.m. in the 800 block of Westmount Drive in the Tri-West neighborhood of West Hollywood. The victim was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, West Hollywood Station.
The woman who was allegedly assaulted was not cooperative with deputies, according to officials. The three people involved in the claim were intoxicated, sheriff's deputies said.
