San Jacinto police were searching for a driver who struck a woman in a wheelchair and left her lying injured in the road late Tuesday night.
The woman was at State Street and Crows Nest Place about 11 p.m. when she was struck, said Deputy Armando Munoz of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
When deputies arrived, they found her in the road and her wheelchair nearby. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No further information was provided.
