A deceased woman's body was found Tuesday afternoon inside a car in the parking lot of a grocery store in West Covina.
The unidentified woman was discovered in the back seat of a car in a parking lot in the 3oo block of North Azusa Avenue around Noon, according to the West Covina Police Department.
Witnesses reported a rotting smell in the area where the dead woman was discovered.
Police said they were not certain if the woman died of natural causes or was the victim of foul play.
Police said they would look for surveillance video and witnesses to help with their investigation.
