Yum or Yuk?

Welcome to the Fried Dumpling Eating Contest.

It’s part of the annual Japanese Festival in downtown Los Angeles.

You get the idea -- contestants have to eat as many dumplings as possible.  This year’s winner was Joey "Jaws" Chestnut, who managed to wolf down 181 dumplings. 

It’s Chestnut’s third consecutive victory at the event. Last year, he downed 240 dumplings.

This is a trend for Chestnut. He's also the 4th of July Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Champ and is currently ranked first in the world by the "International Federation of Competitive Eating."
