One Hurt in Car-to-Car Shooting in Highland Park

At least one person was hurt on Friday after a car-to-car shooting in Highland Park, police said.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. near York Street and N. 64th Avenue in Highland Park after a possible crash on the Pasadena (110) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

One person was shot and was expected to recover, police said.

An officer with LAPD Media Relations said one person was in custody, but officers at the scene said the shooter or shooters fled in a yellow Ford Escape.
