A man was fatally electrocuted while trying to steal wiring from an hospital in Panorama City Friday.
He sustained severe electrical burns to his body, after he allegedly broke into the power substation of the Kaiser Permanente building on Cantara Street at around 12:17 a.m, Los Angeles fire Department said.
Hospital staff requested LAFD paramedics after doing their best to stabilize the man. He was then transported in critical condition to a nearby trauma center. He died at 11 a.m. Friday at the County USC Hospital.
