Standoff: Man Barricaded in Trash-Filled Home

A shooting suspect barricaded himself in a Long Beach home, prompting a standoff with SWAT officers Thursday. The man -- whom neighbors described as a hoarder -- allegedly shot an inspector at about 8 a.m. outside his home in the 6100 block of John Avenue.
