A mountain biker from Torrance who was discovered missing when he didn’t pick up his child from day care Friday was found dead in Altadena.
The body of Evan Bruce Sisson, 49, was found Sunday with his bike, and no visible signs of trauma, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office released his identity to the public Monday.
Sisson’s wife called Torrance police when their child wasn’t picked up at day care on Friday.
Sisson’s cellphone was used to find his location in Altadena.
His phone was found inside of his car, but he was not.
Authorities began combing the area with helicopter, horse teams, and a 35-person search and rescue team over rough terrain.
