Freeway Pursuit Ends Near USC

A driver led authorities on a pursuit in the East Los Angeles area Saturday night, traveling at 80 miles per hour at times on the freeway, before coming to a stop near University of Southern California.

The car stopped at Figueroa and Adams in front of a Popeye's fast food restaurant.

The Dodge SUV was reportedly wanted in connection with a narcotics violation, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The car was reported on the westbound 10 Freeway around 8:35 p.m. before exiting and transitioning to eastbound 10 Freeway in North Los Angeles.

The driver then rerouted to the southbound 110 Freeway before stopped at Figueroa Street and Adams Boulevard.
