The Sand Fire is forcing one couple to put off tying the knot.

At least one wedding this weekend has been postponed because of the Sand Fire.

Robinson Ranch Golf Club, located in Santa Clarita on Sand Canyon Road, was under mandatory evacuation this week because of its proximity to the fire.

The club had two weddings scheduled for this weekend. Though the mandatory evacuation has since been lifted, club employees said one couple decided to postpone because of the fire.

The other couple, they said, was still deciding what to do.

"What are you going to do, you know?" a Robinson Ranch employee said. "When there's a fire like that, something bad could happen."

As of Friday, the Sand Fire was 85 percent contained and has burned over 38,000 acres.
