California Highway Patrol was investigating a possible road rage incident Wednesday after someone shot at a man's vehicle as he drove on the I-15 in Fontana.

At around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night, a driver was traveling northbound on the I-15 south of the 210 Freeway before Summitt Avenue when bullets hit his vehicle, according to CHP.

The man pulled into a strip mall parking lot at Summitt and Beech avenues and called 911.

The suspect description is vague and the vehicle was only described as a light-colored truck.

The motive was under investigation.
