Earth's Cousin: NASA Finds Planet That Can Sustain Life

Scientists have discovered a planet called Kepler-186f that is 490 light-years away and could sustain life, NASA said in a report this week. The planet is "more of an Earth cousin than an Earth twin," NASA researcher Elisa Quintana told the journal Science. Kepler-186f revolves around a central star, like the sun in our solar system, and confirms that “Earth-sized planets do exist in the habitable zones of other stars.”
