Texas Family Murder: Was Suspect Out for Revenge?

Investigators probing the slayings of six family members in Texas haven’t said whether a possible taste for vengeance drove Ronald Lee Haskell to murder his ex-wife’s family, but they believe the victims were caught in a domestic dispute between the suspect and his ex-wife, NBC News reported. Defense lawyers are trying to determine the state of Haskell’s mental health -- after he collapsed in the courtroom on Friday -- as police continue to sift through the evidence. Haskell had a messy breakup with his ex-wife Melissa Lyon, which may have been his reasoning for going after her family. He also had additional run-ins with law enforcement starting in 2008.
