ISIS claims credit for the attack at a Tunisian resort, according to The Associated Press. A gunmen opened fire on a beach popular with tourists in Tunisia on Friday, killing at least 37 people, the country's interior ministry said, AP reported. At least six people were injured in the attack in the Mediterranean city of Sousse, and one attacker has been killed, Ministry spokesman Mohammed Ali Aroui told NBC News. Aroui described the victims as mostly tourists but did not give any nationalities, according to the AP. The entertainment manager at the hotel, who only gave his first name, Hamouda, said guests had told him two gunmen "came from the sea" and attacked the beach. Sousse, some 150 kilometers from Tunis, is a popular resort for both Tunisians and Europeans, though the nationalities of the victims were not immediately clear. In March, an attack on Tunisia's National Bardo Museum left 22 people — mainly foreigners — dead.
