Ex-Police Chief: JonBenet Ramsey Crime Scene Mishandled

Former Boulder, Colorado, police chief Mark Beckner, who led an investigation into the 1996 unsolved murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey said the crime scene may have been mishandled. “We also did a poor job protecting the crime scene," Beckner wrote in a Reddit online discussion. "It was sort of like a perfect storm that day that set things off in the wrong direction." Beckner took over the investigation nine months after Ramsey was discovered dead in her parent's basement.
