Clinton Says She Was ‘Eager' to Meet With FBI

Clinton spoke to NBC News' Chuck Todd in her first interview since meeting with the FBI Saturday

Hillary Clinton said she was “eager” to meet with the FBI, telling NBC News’ Chuck Todd that she was pleased at the chance to help the department reach a conclusion.

But during her first interview since meeting with the agency, Clinton declined to comment on reports that charges will not be filed against her.

She also said she first learned of the meeting between her husband and Attorney General Loretta Lynch “from the news,” calling it a “chance meeting” at an airport tarmac. She said the two did not discuss the Department of Justice’s review and that they “wouldn’t do it again.”

"Hindsight is 20/20," Clinton said.

Clinton reiterated what she has said previously, that she "never received nor sent any material that was marked classified."
