Prosecutors released more discovery records in the Trayvon Martin shooting case Wednesday, including forensic tests that showed George Zimmerman's DNA was the only one that could be identified on the grip of the gun used in the shooting.
The records, which were released by the State Attorney's Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit, included the tests which ruled out Martin's DNA from being on the gun's grip.
The tests identified Zimmerman's DNA on the gun's holster but were inconclusive as to whether Martin's DNA was on the holster.
Zimmerman claimed Martin was on top of him, slamming his head against the ground when he grabbed his gun from the holster before Martin could get it.
The DNA tests were among hundreds of pages of Florida Department of Law Enforcement documents and a series of FDLE photos showing the scene of the confrontation between Zimmerman and the Miami Gardens, Fla., teen that were released by prosecutors.
Also included are emails from the Sanford Police Department, the agency that initially investigated Martin's death.

Zimmerman is charged with second degree murder for fatally shooting Martin, 17, during the confrontation in a gated community in Sanford last February. Zimmerman is pleading not guilty, claiming self-defense.
The delay in Zimmerman's arrest led to nationwide protests.
Among the evidence released Wednesday was an audio recording of detectives interviewing the clerk who was working at the 7-Eleven store where Martin had been shortly before the confrontation.

The clerk, who name was redacted, told detectives he didn't remember Martin coming into the store.
Earlier this month, Zimmerman's attorneys sent subpoenas to the Miami-area schools attended by Martin. The subpoenas request disciplinary notices, suspension notices and tardiness records, among other things.
The attorneys said they will be issuing subpoenas for other items, including potentially relevant data from social media platforms, reports related to chain of custody to key evidence, interviews and more.
