About the Breeders' Cup 3D Mural

A total of 180 horses were pre-entered last week for the 15-race event, which is offering a total of $25.5 million in purses. The field includes eight defending or former champions.

The $5 million Classic, limited to 14 starters, will be broadcast live Nov. 3 on NBC. The two-day event will open Friday with six races, highlighted by the Ladies' Classic.

Santa Anita is hosting the event for the sixth time.
