A 30-year-old man was stabbed in a Dodger Stadium parking lot Monday about 90 minutes after the Los Angeles Dodgers' home opener.

The victim "got in a dispute with some guys in a pickup truck," about 5:45 p.m. in Lot 6, according to Officer Karen Rayner of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

"They got out and stabbed him multiple times," Rayner said.

The man is hospitalized in stable condition, Rayner said.

Police have "some leads and expect to do some followup," including on a report that the suspects were in a black Ford F-150 pickup with a broken rear window," Rayner said.

At about the same time, there was a report of a man with a gun in Lot 4, Rayner said.

"There was a vandalism suspect but the victim refused to make a
report," Rayner said.

Shortly after the Dodgers completed an 11-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants, two vehicles collided near Glendale and Sunset boulevards.

"It was initially reported as a big fight, but now it turns out it was two drivers who got in a little pushing and shoving match," Rayner said.

There were no injuries, and the drivers ended up exchanging information, Rayner said.

About the time that was settled, "a lady runs up and says her child can't breathe."

Officers provided assistance and the child was taken to a hospital, Rayner said.
