In an email sent Monday morning to season-ticket holders, the team announced its new plans.

To make the most loyal fans get past the team's embarrassing bankruptcy, the owners' messy divorce, the Bryan Stow beating and the team's third-place finish, the Dodgers plan to reduce most season-ticket prices and add a slew of extra benefits.

In 2012, season-tickets holders will be permitted early entry to Dodger Stadium for batting practice. Season-ticket holders on the field level will also receive free membership in the Stadium Club.

Ticket holders will also be able to play catch on the field after some games. A complete list of new benefits is posted online.

"A lot of factors got us to our pricing, but feedback directly from fans is at the forefront," said David Siegel, senior director of ticket sales. "You can't ignore the fact the California economic climate is a factor. We decided changes needed to be made and we made adjustments. At the end of the day, it's about our fans."
