The real Super Bowl is still too far away, so enjoy some super flag football action this weekend.

Forget the Super Bowl. Seriously, forget it. February is a long time away, and football fans need something super-caliber immediately.

This is where Santa Clarita comes in. On Saturday, the city will host its Super Bowl Saturday -- the grand finale of its 2009 flag football season.

Yes, we said flag football.

Sure, there won't be any bone-crushing hits or any funny commercials; but, for football lovers, this may be just enough to tide them over.
