PHILADELPHIA – J.J. Redick hit a game tying three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining in overtime and the Los Angeles Clippers survived an off-shooting night with a 98-92 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Clippers extended their road win streak to three consecutive games despite one of their worst shooting performances of the year. The Clippers shot a paltry 36 percent from the field and 22 percent from the beyond the arc, as they overcame their largest deficit over the season to snatch the victory out of the hands of the worst team in the NBA.

For the second consecutive game, the Clippers struggled out of the gate and trailed 21-9 early in the first quarter. The backcourt combination of Chris Paul and J.J. Redick combined for 17 points in the second quarter, but Los Angeles still trailed by 10 at the half.

Los Angeles fell behind by as many as 19 points, but began to chip away at the lead in the second half. With 9:19 remaining in the game, it appeared the Clippers had taken back the momentum as they trailed by only three points, however, Hollis Thompson hit back-to-back treys from beyond the arc and Philadelphia pushed the lead back to 7

Los Angeles would not let up and led by Paul, the Clippers cut the lead to two points multiple teams in the final few minutes. With less than a minute remaining in the game, the Sixers led by four points and seemed on the verge of winning their ninth game of the season – first back-to-back wins of the season – and first against a quality opponent (above .500).

Unfortunately for Philadelphia, Redick had other plans. The Clippers sharp-shooter buried a game tying, three-pointer with just 10 seconds remaining in regulation and the game headed to overtime tied at 88.

The Clippers took control over the overtime session, as they carried over the momentum from the end of the fourth quarter. Before you could say "Dr. J," Los Angeles had gone on a 12-0 run and led by 8 early in overtime.
