Oregon's LaMichael James Takes on Space Mountain

Teammate Kenjon Barner tweeted a picture of the Oregon running back during their rollercoaster ride at Disneyland

LaMichael James and his Oregon Duck teammates took on Disneyland's Space Mountain Tuesday, and it appears as though the roller coaster won.

James and the Ducks visited Disneyland as part of their pre-Rose Bowl tour of Southern California. After a ride on the Space Mountain roller coaster, teammate Kenjon Barner -- a Riverside Notre Dame grad -- tweeted a picture of several Ducks on the ride during its rapid descent.

In front seat of the roller coaster, the 5-foot-9, 195-pound James -- who usually stares down, then scoots past Dodge Caravan-sized linebackers -- looks terrified and he clutches the front rail. In the background, several smiling passengers with their arms raised in delight.

The players also enjoyed the Mad Tea Party ride at Disneyland and later attended the "Beef Bowl" at Lawry's the Prime Rib in Beverly Hills. Barner, also a running back, visited Roscoes House of Chicken and Waffles during his return to Southern California.

Whether it's genuine fear or staged fright, the look on James' face isn't likely to be the same one he'll have Monday when the Ducks play Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl game.
