The Los Angeles Kings lost to the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday, 2-0, forcing a fifth playoff game in Phoenix.
If the Kings go on to win this series they earn a berth in the finals for only the second time in the team's history since the Gretzky era in 1993.
The Kings lead the best-of-seven series, 3-1.
They had the advantage playing in front of their home crowd on Sunday.
The Kings have been equally strong at home and on the road.
The Kings have a 12-2 record in the playoffs. Prior to Sunday, the only other time the Kings lost was to the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the playoffs.
They'd won eight in a row.
The Kings travel to Phoenix for a match up against the Coyotes on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The winner of the Western Conference Finals will go on to play the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the New Jersey Devils and the New York Rangers.
They're set to play Game 4 of their series on Monday.
