A Tennessee man has been charged after he allegedly ran onto the field at Soldier Field wearing a gorilla suit and a shirt that read "All Lives Matter."
Angelo Graham, 31, of Maryville, Tennessee, was charged with criminal trespass to a place of public amusement, Chicago police said Monday.
The incident happened during the fourth quarter of the Chicago Bears game against the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field on Sunday.
On top of the gorilla suit, the unruly fan wore a T-shirt that read "All Lives Matter" on the front, and "Put the guns down" on the back, as well as an orange winter hat. [[395586491, C]]
After leading security guards on a brief chase toward the end zone and back, the gorilla slipped and fell, only to be tackled by no fewer than five people at the 40-yard line.
The attention-seeker was then escorted from the stadium, and despite reports that he or she had been arrested, Chicago police did not immediately have information regarding the incident Sunday night.
The stunt was not aired during the broadcast of the game, though some eagle-eyed viewers caught a brief glimpse of the perpetrator being taken from the field. [[395586561, C]]
