Between the Laker Girls and Jack Nicholson, there are plenty of distractions when teams play the Lakers already in place. But for the Knicks there was one moreStephon Marbury.

Despite being banned from the New York Knicks facilities , Stephon Marbury was with his teammates Tuesday night -- he purchased baseline courtside seats for the Knicks game game against the Lakers at Staples Center.

The Knicks had enough problems, trying to figure out how to stop Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum, but the ultimate team cancer was there too, causing problems 3,000 miles from home. In the end, the Knicks gave up a 15-point halftime lead and lost.

The only way this could have been better for Lakers fans was if Marbury started throwing his shoes at Mike D'Antoni.
