    Thanksgiving is about family, food and football. For the second straight year, KNBC brought the three together for Roggin's Heroes Thanksgiving. Ten of the top high school football players in southern California showcase their skills and the strong family bonds that have gotten them to the top.

    Kurt Scoby shares his journey of overcoming the tough odds life has thrown his way. From the loss of his mother to bouncing between foster homes, he's had to escape more than just rapid linebackers.
