Zach Lee made his first ever big league start on Saturday, and had a disastrous debut as the New York Mets scored a season-high 15 runs on 21 hits, demolishing the Dodgers 15-2 at Citi Field.

Kelly Johnson made his debut with the Mets after being acquired from the Braves via trade earlier in the day. Johnson hit a home run his third at-bat in what would turn out to be Lee's final pitch of the day.

Juan Uribe, who was also traded to the Mets on Saturday, reunited with his former Dodgers teammates just two days after they left Atlanta. Uribe was surrounded by teammates before the game and replaced Daniel Murphy at third base in the sixth inning.

The Mets jumped all over the Dodgers from the get go, scoring four runs in the first inning thanks to the first ever hit, an RBI single by rookie Michael Conforto.

Confroto went 4-for-4 with four runs scored in just his second game in the big leagues. Conforto was called up from Double-A Binghamton on Friday and was given a standing ovation by the New York crowd.

Kirk Nieuwenhuis also went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs scored as the Mets had a season-high 15 runs on 21 hits.

Lee 's debut could not have gone any worse as the 23-year old right-hander allowed seven runs on eleven hits in 4.2 innings.
