From Long Beach to London: Water Polo Star Tony Azevedo
Nicknamed "The Savior," Tony Azevedo is a star water polo player and California native. He grew up in Long Beach and attended Stanford University, where he led the Stanford's men's water polo team to two NCAA championships. Azevedo represented the U.S. at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, 2004 Olympics in Athens and won a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. See some highlights from his career here.
