Sony Claims World's Lightest Laptop

At 1.6 pounds, Sony's newly announced carbon fiber laptop claims the title "World's Lightest Laptop." At least for this week.

The Sony X features a 2Ghz Intel ULV processor, SSD drive, 16x9 display, GPS, built in Verizon Wireless 3G, and can run up to 14 hours on a charge. If you plan on heading to London from LAX, this feather weight will stay going with plenty of time to spare.

"You now have a game changer- altering the way people use and think about their PC," said Mike Abary, senior vice president of the VAIO business group at Sony.

The price is a little heavy but still cheaper than a Macbook Air. They start at $1300.
