Patricia Demauro had only played craps once before when she ponied up to a table inside the Borgata Saturday night.

Little did she know that Lady Luck intended to make her second game one for the record books.

Demauro bought into a game for $100 at about 8:13 p.m. and quickly amassed a large crowd of cheering supporters as the dice kept on rolling in her favor.

One hour, two hours, three hours later, she was still in the game.

Demauro and her husband toasted the achievement after over four hours of play. The last record of over three hours and six minutes was set more than 20-years ago inside a Las Vegas casino.

"I was just wandering around and I saw a crowd of people around 10:30," Timothy Jenkins told Casino Gambling Web, "so I started to watch, and it was amazing. I didn't stop watching until she was done several hours later."

When Demauro eventually "sevened out" around 12:31 a.m. she had rolled the dice 154 times, holding on for four hours and 18 minutes -- beating out the 20-year old record by more than a hour.

That's when Borgata officials broke out the bubbly to toast the North Jersey woman's achievement.

"This was only my second time playing craps, so this was very exciting for me to be a part of history," Demaruo said.

Demauro was jumping up and down during her winning streak. And the crowd started chanting her name. Borgata security initially got suspicious because what Demauro did is more difficult than bowling a perfect game over and over again.

The casino would not disclose how much Demauro won during her stretch at the table and neither would she. But Demauro knows how she'll spend it. The grandma from North Jersey is taking her daughter and three grandkids to Disney World.
