An upstate New York man was shot after he badgered his friend into shooting him, cops said. They said he wanted to know how it felt to be shot.
This guy may really have been asking for it.
Shawn Mossow shot his friend after the friend, curious about how it would feel to be shot, repeatedly asked him to, New York state police told The Associated Press.
They arrested and charged Mossow with reckless endangerment for allegedly relenting to his friend’s request to shoot him in the right leg with a .22-caliber rifle, the AP reported.
The ill-advised shooting took place around 5 p.m. Sunday in the rural town of Stockholm in New York's North Country, near the Canadian border.
The victim has not been identified but police said he was a 24-year-old from nearby Norfolk. He is expected to make a full recovery.
