Santa Barbara firefighters rescued a paraglider who got caught in a 35-foot palm tree.
Login Walters, of Carpinteria, told KEYT that his aerial voyage was fine until a shift in the wind sent him into a palm tree.
Rescue workers used an 80-foot ladder extension to reach Walters.
Walters was not hurt. He spent at least 30 minutes in tree, KEYT reported.
