The Interfaith Food Center (IFC) alleviates hunger and food insecurity by providing supplemental food services to the hungry, disadvantaged, disabled and homeless. For 30 years, IFC has been the primary provider of food services to the neediest populations of Whittier, La Mirada and Southeast Los Angeles County. IFC distributes 3 million pounds of food annually, seeing an average of 260 families each day we are open – this totals over 51,000 visits last year, and assistance with over 500,000 meals.
