Judge Ends Federal Oversight of LAPD

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa held a news conference on Thursday to mark a judge's decision to officially end the federal oversight of the LAPD that was put in place in 2001 after the Rampart corruption scandal. The ACLU spoke out saying that although progress has been made, there is still a lot that needs to change in the department.
