LAFD Lagging Response Times Raise New Reliability Concerns

    A study released Wednesday found the Los Angeles Fire Department is continuing to miss its target response time on four out of 10 calls. The news comes months after LAFD Chief Brian Cummings was instructed by the City Council to create and implement a plan to correct the delays. Councilman Eric Garcetti says he’s disappointed that plan had yet to be completed. Patrick Healy reports from Downtown Los Angeles for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Nov. 16, 2012.
