There are conflicting reports surrounding the possible use of a stun gun in the Jackson family home, involving Michael Jackson's children.
TMZ reported that Jermaine Jackson's 13-year-old son Jafar Jackson ordered a stun gun online, and that Jafar, Michael Jackson's older son Prince Michael and daughter Paris were playing with the gun when they tried to shock Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket.
Child services workers came to the Jackson family home, according to TMZ, after Jackson security personnel heard strange sounds coming from the second floor. TMZ reported that the guards discovered the kids with the stun gun.
But Michael Jackson's children were never exposed to a mail-order stun gun recently delivered to the family's home, an attorney for the late singer's mother said Tuesday.
Child services workers are investigating the incident, but attorney Adam Streisand said the stun gun was confiscated before any harm was done. Streisand represents Jackson's mother, Katherine, who has custody of her son's three young children, ever since Michael Jackson's death last summer.
Streisand said the weapon was ordered by the 13-year-old son of Jermaine Jackson, Jafar, and sent to the Jackson family home in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles. Jermaine Jackson's children also live in the home.
"Jafar opened the package in his bathroom and tested it on a piece of paper,'' Streisand said in a statement. He said security and Katherine Jackson heard the sound and confiscated the weapon immediately.
"Blanket Jackson never saw or heard the (stun gun)," Streisand said in the statement. "Neither did Paris Jackson. Prince saw the stun gun in possession of security.
